Hello Impact Family!
I want to start by thanking you for an awesome Sunday! What an amazing day it was to see our church family come together. I also want to Thank You for your patience and understanding as we are getting our new system up and running. In adopting a new Check In system for Impact Kids, we're having to input all of your information again. We are expecting a much smoother check in process for you this next Sunday. We really appreciate you filling out the new information cards and getting those to us promptly. The sooner we receive those cards, the easier the check in process will be for all of us. There are some things I'd like to mention prior to our February 8th gathering.
1. Check In Station #2.
This will be located outside next to the Nursery/Toddler room (behind the Welcome Center). If you have a baby, infant, and/or toddler, you will be using Station #2 for the foreseeable future. Please go directly to this station to check in your precious babies and receive your labels. Should you have older children as well, please feel free to use whichever line is most conducive to your needs.
2. Classroom Assignments & Check In/Out.
Babies, infants, & toddlers will be in Room 1 (downstairs). Preschool-1st Grade will be in Room 2 (upstairs). 2nd-5th Grade will be in Room 3 (upstairs). Upon checking in & receiving your children's label(s), children will be directed to go upstairs to their classroom. Parents, if you feel the desire to walk them to their classroom for the next couple of weeks until you are comfortable, feel free to do so. However, we ask that you continue down the other stair case that will lead you directly to the foyer. Do not come back towards the Check In station. This area gets too congested. Upon the conclusion of service, when you arrive to Check Out your children, we will call up to the classroom to have the teacher send your children downstairs. We ask that you do not go upstairs to retrieve them due to congestion in the hallways and staircases. Again, if this is disconcerting to you, please let us know. We will do our best to make you and your family as comfortable as possible in this process.
Starting this Sunday, February 8, we will have a strict "No Food" policy. We have multiple children that have food allergies. We ask that you are cognizant of this policy for the health and safety of our children. If you desire that your child have a snack, please feel free to visit our Welcome Center prior to service. However, all food needs to be consumed prior to your child attending class. Thank you for your understanding. 4. Children's Choir.
Starting this Sunday, there will be a sign-up sheet for any of your children (Preschool - 5th Grade) interested in joining our Children's Choir. The first performance will take place on Palm Sunday, March 29. Rehearsals will take place after 2nd service starting February 22. The last day to sign up will be Sunday, February 22. Contact Katherine Powell for further information.
