Impact Missions Team in Cambodia - Update 1
Survivor 31 Logo - Cambodia 2019.jpg

The Impact Missions Team (“IMT”) arrived safely in Cambodia after 26 hours of traveling - from Menifee to LAX to Seoul, South Korea, and then finally to Phnom Penh, Cambodia. As a point of reference, Cambodia is 14 hours ahead of Menifee (PDT), so by the time the IMT landed in the Capital City of Phnom Penh it was 11pm on Monday.

They are preparing to make an Impact, and that begins with time in the Word and Team Devotionals. One of the ambitious projects the IMT is tackling on this trip is designing and constructing a playground for the kids at Children of Hope. So one of the first stops in the planning was trip to the lumber yard. While this is in progress, they’re also making preparations for the first Vacation Bible School at Calvary Chapel Phnom Penh this weekend.

Please keep everyone on the IMT in your prayers - for their strength and for the opportunities to minister to the people of Cambodia.

BOH Breath of Heaven Fundraising Dinner 2019.jpg

Please join Breath of Heaven for their 9th Annual Fundraising Dinner on Sunday, October 27. They are delighted to announce their very distinguished Guest Speaker: Mr. Muki M. Benas Phiri is a Zambian dignitary with over 20 years’ experience in multilateralism, international relations and diplomacy. He is currently working at the United Nations as the First Secretary (Legal Advisor) for the Zambian delegation.

Throughout his life, Mr. Phiri has demonstrated personal concern for the plight of orphaned and disadvantaged children within Zambia. As a career diplomat and one who has first-hand knowledge of the crisis, he can speak with authority about the situation in Zambia and the ongoing need for intervention. Also, being the brother of the secondary school principal at Breath of Heaven Academy, he is very familiar with our ministry in Zambia and can address directly the impact Breath of Heaven is having in the lives of the children we serve.

Please register now to join us for this exciting Annual Event!

In addition to meeting Mr. Phiri (and enjoying a delicious dinner), you will receive an update, through personal testimony, pictures, and videos, of the progress that has been made at the Children’s Village over the past year.

The cost for the BOH Fundraising Dinner is $80.00 per person.

Impact Your Neighborhood This Halloween

Should Christians celebrate Halloween?

Every fall, this is the questions many people in the church are asking. And yet, what if this isn’t the right question at all?

At Impact, we believe the most important question to ask on Halloween is: How can we use this day, and every day, to glorify God and reach the world for Christ?”

This year, how can you and your family share the love of Christ on October 31st?
Check out the ides on the attached flyer / images for some creative ways to Impact your neighborhood for Jesus.

Impact Blood Drive - Sunday November 10th
Impact Blood Drive 2019-11.jpg

Impact Church is proud to partner with the American Red Cross and be a part of all they do for our community, our country and around the world. Our blood drive is important to patients in need, but the collection and distribution of blood is just a small part of all the Red Cross does.

The enormity of what the Red Cross accomplishes every day is astounding and this is one of the reasons we chose them as one of our core community outreach partners.

  • Every 60 seconds, 44 people in America are assisted by the American Red Cross.

  • 15,500 people every day receive lifesaving Red Cross health and safety training.

  • 1,000 times a day the Red Cross provides services to military members, their families and veterans.

  • 190 times a day Red Cross workers help families affected by a home fire or disaster.

From a blood supply standpoint:

  • The Red Cross must collect 14,000 units of blood each day.

  • The blood collected by the Red Cross helps millions of patients in over 2,400 hospitals across the country.

  • 80 percent of blood donations are given at blood drives are hosted by generous sponsoring organizations like ours.

At Impact Church, we are proud to hold blood drives in partnership with the Red Cross, giving us all an opportunity to make a difference. Our next drive is coming up on Sunday November 10, 2019.
