Writing in the Sand

Jesus was a friend of sinners. Are we? Too often, we’re much quicker to extend a pointing finger than a helping hand to the lost. Apparently, we forget our own past and even our present struggle with sin. It’s much easier to judge other people’s sin publicly while our own sin remains private.  We must remember: Jesus sees it all. This truth should not only caution, but encourage us. The One who knows everything about us is also our greatest Advocate. At His feet, we find mercy for our guilt and grace for our shame. No matter who we are or what we’ve done, we can know forgiveness and a changed life. Your sin isn’t written in stone, but in sand. Let His Grace wash it away.
