Win Against Sin

We all have a sin problem. Sin destroyed the perfect world God created, and it continues to destroy it. Sin is devastating. It is all around us and it is in us. It distances us from God, damages the people we love and disappoints futures that could have been. So, what are we to do? We know that Jesus defeated death once and for all on the Cross. How, then, do we walk in that victory? We must see ourselves for who we really are: We’re mortal and should live for a purpose greater than ourselves. We’re also responsible for our own sinful choices. We must also see sin for what it actually is. While sin entices us with promises of pleasure, the excitement is only temporary and will ultimately bring death. Finally, we must see God for who He is. The “Father of Lights” loves us and wants to give us every good and perfect gift.
