God is a sending God. He sent His Son to bring people to Him, and now He sends His Church to bring people to His Son. Living a "sent" life can be troublesome. It requires becoming a servant of the Lord who only wants to carry out the will of his Master. To be used by God for His good in this world means you will constantly be inconvenienced and asked to do things you probably don't want to do. It means you must let go of your old life with its habits, priorities and failures, and grab hold of the new life Jesus has for you. It requires obeying His Word, even when it's confusing, scary or difficult. Living a "sent" life isn't easy, but it's the only life of true Blessing.
