Jesus knows people. He knows people better than you know people. He knows the people who have hurt you, offended you, and opposed you. When we’re too quick to write people out of our lives, we often miss what God is trying to write into our lives - and the lives of others. How do you respond to those who have hurt you or opposed you? You must look closer to see what Jesus sees. If you look closer, you’ll see someone who is an untrustworthy sinner...just like you. If you look closer, you’ll see someone whose greatest need is to be changed, not charged. If you look closer, you’ll see someone Jesus wants in His Kingdom, someone He can change even though you can’t. If you look closer, you’ll see someone Jesus loves enough to die for. Who are you frustrated or angry with today? Look closer.
